I recommend not updating if you are on 4.05 until everything essential is ported over. If you are on 4.07 or 4.50 here is how you can do it.

Download the 4.55 firmware from that page.
Make a folder called 'PS4' on your USB.
Make a folder called 'UPDATE' inside of the 'PS4' folder.
Drop the PS4UPDATE .pup inside the 'UPDATE' folder.
Go to system settings and click the system update option. It will tell you what version you are going to install just to be sure.

Some people are recommending to stay on 4.05 for now until everything gets ported over. You're free to update to 4.55 but you may want to just update to 4.05, at least until everything's in full, working order.

Can play homebrew now and use the fake PKGs now, all whats we waiting for is the DUMPER and ftp i think.

I have the same Problem. Can you tell me where I can find the file to delete via ftp to stop the update prompt at start?
