If I play a backup of Splatoon 2 I´ll get banned, but if I play my orginal card of splatoon 2 afterwards it works online?

yes, it is a game ban and not a console ban (FOR NOW).
if you got this error you can still play your legit games online.

You can dump your own cart with the cert. But also no guarantee this won't lead to a ban.

That would be different as it doesn't hold the cert when using layerfs

So we really can still use eshop? After being banned? Then okay fine by me, I was just planning on dumping my carts onto the switch, could care less about online, especially since voice chat is ridiculously implemented, I've seen the astro Zelda headsets and it even has 2 cords connecting to a phone and switch, ridiculous.

Going online with a backup is a huge risk. You could easily get banned

After getting online For the first time with a "Backup".
Its not Instant but there will be a Ban wave.

As you can see in the first post of the topic, the OP wasn't really banned. The error showed up due to a blacklisted or missing certificate.

If you care about online functionality, buy a 2nd console for homebrew/cfw. Nintendo had us spoiled with the last couple generations.

OMG, we can discuss piracy here, we just can't share links or files with copyrighted material. No one has shared anything so no rules were broken.

I agree. Nintendo aren't oblivious to what's going on. They know SX OS is out there, they know Atmosphere is coming, it makes sense to sit on the bans until pirating is more established.
