there are a few great GB color hacks i'd love to play on my wii particularly,

Super Mario Land 2

Metroid 2
_

on my laptop they look great, but on the Wii, the colors are all jumbled

is there a setting i'm missing.

i tried re-naming them from .gb to .gbc and .gba and that didn't work either

is there any fix to this, or should i just give up and play on my laptop

Are these games that don't usually support color before the hack? The problem is that it's being emulated as a gameboy/gameboy color game, when the color was most likely added using super gameboy code.

I don't know that there's anyway to fix that without messing with the rom/emulator code itself.

hmm, you can force the emulator into Super GB mode, i'll try that right now!

no, that doesn't work.

anyone know if the color hacked games work in other emulators? on the Wii, i mean.

i CAN'T go back to Metroid in B&W, lol

Unfortunately these types of romhacks are only able to run on emulators specially talored (or modded) for color injecting (or something similar) I remember using the emulator he has used and it's a modded verson of the original VBA which ran these types of hacks. Another example would be MasterBoy for PSP. If I recall correctly, That emulator can run these types of hacks as well.
