I've been downloading premade .cia backups for my carts because it's quicker than going through the steps to generate them myself, but I'm curious how this all works if playing them online.
If I generate my own .cia file by using my own generated xorpads does the resulting .cia then have a unique identifier when playing online? If I use a publicly available .cia file does this have an identifier when playing online that a lot of other people will have also used?
