Welcome to our channel, since modding a console breaks your warranty and stuff, we're a team that has dedicated some of our time to create software hacks. That way, you can play backup games WITHOUT any modification on your PS3/Wii/other consoles for free!Softmod PS3?

SOFTMOD PS3?!DUDE!!!

------------------------------ -
Current Wii custom firmware -

Now we do plan on releasing our hacks soon... We expect a lot of people to *fail* by using our hacks. However, since the Wii/PS3 isn't modded in any way, you still got your warranty. (But there is like... Impossible to fail, lol) He expects people to brick their Wii. DO NOT DOWNLOAD SHIT FROM THIS GUY

Uh... There will probably be closed beta tests before it will be released in public. Uh...

Have you seen the gamecube? It's freeloader? Have you seen our video? The way the Wii reads a *gamecube* game?

Think before you post. People like you are like.. Bugs, trying to act like they've found out something.

I think you fail to understand how datel's freeloader works. I will explain it more or less to show you and everyone else why i said you fail to understand it.
And if you see i missed something, then please explain to me what exactly i did overlook, i welcome you to do it, just as i am going to do now:

OK, so the freeloader is just a Wii-Disc that runs some code to enable some region free compatibility.
So, the code that runs in the wii is not the interesting part, since when that happens the wii has already "approved" the disc.
What is important here is that datel's freeloader is a PRESSED disc. It is not a backup, which is burnt/written instead of pressed, and contains some special sectors which is almost impossible to get with your average DVD burner and DVD media. It looks to the wii as a REAL dvd.

Ok, but it is not that easy. Why did it take so long for datel to release a freeloader?
Well, it JUST so happens that they released it right after the trucha-exploit became published. Just in case you also fail to understand why they needed this, i will briefly explain that as well:
The wii needs to verify that it is a DVD coming from a nintendo-approved source. That is done using public-key cryptography, certificates and all that "stuff", and that is what the trucha exploit, well, exploits. It manages to fake a signature such that the Wii believes the content was nintendo-approved.

So, to sum it up, this is what datel needed in order to getting their DVD to run in a non-modified Wii console:
1) Press the discs (simplified), so they are not simple "backups", and get recognized as a real dvd
2) Trucha-signed content on their DVD, so the Wii trusts the DVD and runs the DVD.

Which is an entirely different thing from running a simple backup, AFAIK.

So now everyone should understand why the fact that they think that datel did it before them just proves that they probably do not know what they are talking about, and that this is probably just a big fake.

Also, i think you should also think before you post.
You should NOT expect people to trust you when you do NOT provide any REAL proof. (you can do all videos you want, thats no proof!) , so why are you so amazed that everyone is calling it a fake?
Prove me wrong if you can, i would really like to hear it (no, really! i would like you to explain to me why i am wrong, so i can learn something), its just you DON'T, and THAT's why everyone is calling it a FAKE. End of story.

There is a AR code thing that enables GC homebrew without a chip

You have to load AR, which is impossible with Wii as it have MIOS that blocks it. (Unless you use GCOS)

All of you will get all of your questions answered tomorrow :wtf: And remember, just because the video will be out late, don't post negative comments. Because that's unnecessary.

Video will never prove anything. You have to release it and it have to be proven by people.

My comments:

Flaws:
1. How did you boot up a copied gamecube game using no hacks at all.
2. In gamecube mode, the wii has no access to the USB ports, this is not possible to hack, it is a PHYSICAL limitation if the wii.
3. Hi Temporary Gameboy Advance!
4. Why is there a towel covering the top right corner of the screen
5. Please tell me, why does the screen flash green lots.
6. after loading the gamecube game "hack", why does the screen flash black instantly instead of fading?

Jademalo

How you did it:
You have two wiis, the one shown was NOT connected to the TV.
You switched the channel for the random code running thing
You then put in an actual game into the hidden wii that was connected to the tv.

Sorry dude, you made far too many errors. Im not even going to bother trying to work out what you are trying to achieve.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

  • cearp @ cearp:
@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
