Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone knows a way to play a sound.bin file that has been extracted from a WAD. I've searched around but people only seem to want to extract and then replace the file but I actually want it play it.

I've tried Audacity but if I import that as a raw file it's all high pitched, there is some options to importing the file - i've tried playing with these but no joy (unless somone knows the exact options)

Any thoughts/advice would be much appreciated.

Cheers

C.

Maybe it could be helpful,
Once I did compile the sources in wiibrew for bns file format to extract hbc music.
Here : http://www.tepetaklak.com/data/BannerSoundToPcm.exe

you need at least .net 2.0 runtime, program produces a pcm file, you can open that file in audacity, choose raw and manually set frequency (it was 32000 for hbc music as far as I remember) and sample type...
