Hacking Platinum - Disappearing text

I've been playing Pokemon platinum for some time now on my R4 via Ysmenu for some time now without any problems but suddenly, random letters have disappeared in text . It now seems like my game is in another language and is near impossible to read (I can guess my way through it but it is annoying to say the least)

Try downloading a fresh version of the game and see if that helps. Otherwise check if you have any cheat codes on and if you do turn them off. Sometimes cheats can mess up a game.

I had that problem too!

When I'm ending the battle and it goes through the trainer name or something, it just starts appearing as dots.

I just turned off my cheats and it was fine. (:

Tried turning off any cheats and the problem is still there. I'll try and re-downlaod it.

Could it be your game though? If downloading another cheat file doesn't work, maybe re download the game?

Re-downloaded the game and problem gone. Thanks for all your help
