ROM Hack PKHex Pokedex Exporting?

Anyone know if you can export pokedex data from one oras save and import it to another?

Afaik, no. You could manually transfer Pokemon, but that's be a pain :/

1) backup old boxes to boxdata
2) import this boxdata
3) go into the game and save etc
4) remove this data
5) restore original boxdata
6) profit??

No prob :^) I found that boxdata waaay back somewhere I don't even remember.

That boxdata will save many peoples time and efforts.

Tbh pkhex has a build in pokedex fill option so the biggest use in this would be the following and this will work on Sun and Moon to get the first 719 mons (pretty sure hoopa and volcanion are missing ...)

That is - assuming pkhex will take a bit before it supports Sun and Moon. Kaphotics has answered my question about that a bit back saying he has the full intention to have pkhex support Sun and Moon even if the save file structure drastically changes.

1) backup old boxes to boxdata
2) import this boxdata
3) go into the game and save etc confirming mons are there
4) open pokebank (the official one, not phbank)
5) put all mons on bank
6) swap cartridges (or the current-in-use game)
7) put all those mons on Sun and Moon
8) restore original boxdata on game you used as bank access game initially (ideally that ORAS due to compatibility btw)
9) Profit??
