Unfortunately, the entire program would have to be rewritten in something other than C#. This is the folly of .NET languages. It acts as a major barrier between applications and the cross-platform potential.

Mono works perfectly. .net is beautiful and the mono project has come a long way in the last few years.

And:

So, unless I'm misinterpreting the rules, you shouldn't be telling anyone to get a "cracked" version of Windows.

Linking isn't really necessary with how scarily easy it is to find stuff though
I remember when I first got my 3DS (on the year it launched) I waited ages for an emulator or roms or whatever, and "that ISO site" had popped up pretty quickly and could be found by typing a few words into google
Better safe than sorry though

Every other version of PKHex has had a Mac update pretty much,don't understand why no ones gotten on the latest version yet. Specially as it now supports Gens 1 to 6,if I am correct?

I know you said you're not the most technically apt person, but maybe have a look through this and you might be able to figure it out? I would do it myself, but my Mac is currently out of action - broken SATA cable.
