Hi, I downgraded using modoru, down to 3.60, my current is 3.70 and the factory firmware was 1.61, but I've tried it twice now andit goes right through the process and then when i check the fw, it's still 3.70? Any idea whats wrong?

I believe spoofing is still on so it shows 3.70, so sorry i forgot about turning off the spoofing. Turn of your vita and hold L while powering it on. Does this make it show 3.60? If it does go to henkaku.xyz on vita browser and install. If it doesn't I'm afraid you'll have to update to 3.70, run trinity, go into henkaku settings and turn off spoofing, then downgrade again.

I wonder if I should try it on ur0, the guide says ux0, but maybe the directories are mixed up because I had the sd2vita in there and it needs to go on the internal memory? Clutching at straws i know!

Strange.
I think you may need to remove your plugins first,
Backup your config.txt somewhere safe and then run trinity if you haven't already and go into henkaku settings and choose reload taihen config and reboot then run trinity and immediately run modoru to downgrade afterwards.
Once done just delete your config.txt and copy back your backup.

I mean the config inside of tai folder. you should only have a tai folder in ur0 if you have one in ux0 check to see if there's any plugins you have there. If you don't just delete it. If you do just write them down and reinstall through autoplugin after the downgrade.

You need to have your config.txt in tai folder empty of plugins so it should just have henkak.skprx as it's only plugin. Reloading taihen config option in henkaku settings does this for you.

I dont think there is a config in the ur0 i'll check

there was a config.txt and a config.txt copy in ux0

And i my ur0

there is, config.txt
henkakuksprx
henkakusuprx
henkaku.config.bin and taihen.skprx

Gotcha, having multiple tai folders causes all kinds off issues, it's recommended you have tai folder in ur0 only,

I'm not sure where your at now but i would recommend deleting both tai folders in ur0 and ux0 then rebooting and running trinity this should put you where you need to be, afterwards downgrade and once that's done you can reinstall all your plugins from scratch from the autoplugin app.


Also i recommend you check your sd card in pc to see if there's a tai folder here as well and delete it too

As it stands now I wouldnt really be losing anything anyway, I would just reinstall trinity and vitashell and then go straight to the downgrade process

After running trinity double check to make sure spoofing is off

And if 3.60 won't work try with 3.65, you might have better luck

If that also fails reinstall 3.70 with easy downgrader and modoru
