Could someone help me compile the latest version or pk3ds? I downloaded the source code from the github and wish to compile it using sharp developer or Visual studio.
You just run the .sln file and build, that's how it goes with MVS anyway.I downloaded the source code from the github and wish to compile it using sharp developer or Visual studio.
It's SLN, as in SoLutioN. Just install Microsoft's own Visual Studio, it doesn't take long.i don't have whatever the hell is needed to run .sin files, and I don't want to
You don't even have to when both of those programs have nightly builds supplied almost in real time.... MVS isn't a small program so unless someone is a developer, it's a complete waste of time to install to compile one program; especially when a lot of homebrew written in C using MVS supplies builds. It's not feasible to expect someone to set up a dev environment to use one time when it would take someone with it installed literal seconds to help. I'm all for folks learning the process but I feel like this is like asking AutoZone to use the ODM reader to get an engine code cleared and they tell you to go to a mechanic.....It's SLN, as in SoLutioN. Just install Microsoft's own Visual Studio, it doesn't take long.
I'm only replying to you with this so you can do things yourself, avoiding having to beg for a compiled version every 5 hours there's a new commit.
Teach a man how to fish. I would suggest giving a link to the nightly build downloads location, especially for the reason of not having to repeat giving him the fish itself the next revision. Here man, it's the current nightly version of PK3DS
Is this normal, that there is no longer PKHeX, in the nightly builds?BTW, the official thread has had the link to the latest build for almost a year now.

We're working on a way to get the dev builds posted on our site automatically. It's mostly ready, but we're waiting on Invision Community to fix a bug in the API. No eta unfortunately. Is this normal, that there is no longer PKHeX, in the nightly builds?
I can compil it myself, so I don't care, I'm just curious.
