Android Pixel Launcher crashes when opened

I downloaded Google Pixel Launcher from the Play Store (I didn't even know I could do that), but it crashes whenever I press the Home Button.

I think the Pixel Launcher is optimized for Android 7.0 and running it on a phone with x86 architecture might not even work at all.

what phone are you trying to install it on? you may have to edit your build.prop to make your phone look like a Pixel device to the app

ASUS Zenfone 2 ZE500CL, and I heard about that build.prop trick, but I didn't want to modify it, because my phone has a different architecture as the Pixel (x86), and idk how many conflicts would that cause.

Thanks, but I don't wanna try any third-party launchers. I'll just stick with Google Now Launcher.

aah ...well then you may never get to try Pixel launcher unless you edit your build.prop or buy a Pixel or nexus device ..
