Hey All,

I am having a issue with this install, I have done plenty OLED's but this one is causing me a lot of issues. I can't seem to get the modchip to glitch the console it just boots straight into OFW and doesn't glitch it. The error looks like *== or *=* but I provided a video anyways. Any idea which solder could be causing this?

I am not sure which point is causing this, any help is appreciated. Sorry for poor picture quality.

If you are unable to find the culprit, I'd say start over.

Its easier to do all the soldering again, than try tracking into something that could be anything.

The pictures may be deceiving. Do you have cold solder joints or are you working at too low a temperature?

Same problem
But mine not booting ofw

I have done plenty OLED's more than 40
But this one first time *=*

I have had this problem several times on perfectly soldered oleds. With flex cables and with wires. Reworked all solder-points. Nothing fixed the problem.

It only happens about 1 out of 10 glitching tries.

Searching for solutions I figured out the only way (for me) is to replace the picofly with an instinct-chip. I dont like this solution, but it works for me.
