Protip: cIOS is already based off IOS38.
Us Rock Band players want it to be based off IOS37 so we can use our instruments in cIOS.

Sorry I don't get what you're saying, probably because I'm a bit tired.

No where did I say I expect Wii Speak to magically work, titles have to be designed to use it in the first place.

I personally don't use WiiSpeak, but I assume things will need it in the future. Rock Band is the bigger issue. I guess I'd be happier with IOS37 since maybe we will be able to have USB Loader functionality that works with RawkSD. I know it's not necessarily involved, but I'm curious if it's possible to replace the SD drivers or redirect them or something to activate SDHC functionality. Maybe not on disc, but maybe with USB Loader?

so my vote is IOS37 for USB support, and SDHC support if possible.

Mhm...strange that nobody mentioned this...but if I merge 36 with 37 to a new IOS (Hermes Installer), WiiSpeak works (at least on the Conduit). No Idea about Rockband, but I guess it should also work then...So why not IOS37, if both Devices work with it? Am I wrong or what? I'm confused

-Also, doesn't the newest cIOS Installer makes two IOS (249&250)? Why not make one (249) with IOS38 and one (250) with IOS37? Is that too much work

IOS38 of course. IOS37 is too much rev1-rev3.

I think eventually seperate versions for both the IOS's should be released, because they both have their advantages. But for now one based on IOS38 is the best choice I think.

It does solve everyones problem but then all the loaders would have to be updated to run from those IOS's. Its not a ton of work but everyone would have to be involved.
