Phoenix Wright looks kinda dumb, I never wanted him as a character. He's really only in there for PW fanboys who want to see him shout "Objection!" because apparently that joke never gets old to them.

This is in the video itself, a whole bunch of the character cut from previous games, either "Slain" or "Apprehended"

Curiously, Megaman is not marked. It's possible Captain Commando is in the same way, but his label might just be covered by the life bar.

Oh come on. They could at least have missing in action.

Also, one of Phoenix moves remind me of Peach down b move when she pull out things...

I don't know. Pheonix's gameplay doesn't look like it will be all that stellar. I'll wait until the game launches to pass judgement, but I have the feeling that he won't be my most played character.

As far as I know, Guild quite liked the fast paced frantic combos of the original.

And I am happy as long as Phoenix Wright gets some more publicity since it means that it may be more likely that we will get more Phoenix Wright titles in the future.

He still looks dumb, regardless of my views on the game. The animations are stupid (I mean just look at his mouth animation for his final) and they could've engineered a truly unique character, instead all I see is more kicking and punching with a MODOK-type of "Analyze Cube".

Honestly I just think Phoenix is put in this game as Capcom's way of saying "sorry we're never going to bring Ace Attorney Investigations 2 over to America but you're going to still give us money now he's in a fighting game."

Capcom doesn't remove features that are already in game. They remove them before launch and sell them as dlc. So following the SF4 path UMVC3AE should have some features like
- pc version
- online multiplayer
- real alternate costumes instead of recoloring
- 2 extremely op characters
- only $15
- new stuff incompatible with the old version
- abandoning the old version
- 40 new costumes only $5 each

Edit: Also I really like mvc3 and I am going to get umvc3 but I am really disappointed with capcom. Also I hate whoever gets to play during the umvc3 streams. Seriously stop playing to win and pick some new characters instead of using sentinel, doom, wesker, etc teams to keep winning. The point is to show off new characters not to show that old shit still works.
