does it still make sense to buy it? Because I wanne play it online and I'm not really sure if a ISO is sufficient. Do I still need this little wing license stuff?

ISO is sufficient, just use XKai Link or PRO-C Online.

thanks for your quick answer. I thought XKai Link is a tunnel service for playing games via adhoc over the internet? Whats about the official server? Is it posible to play on them to?

Well... u dont need to license to play online... if u hacked ur PSP u should able to downlord online assess homebrew with ISO file.
if u didnt hack it yet and u want to buy UMD u need update ur psp version over 6.20
