Gaming Phantasy Star 0 Multiplayer Stage Unlock

Are there any cheats to unlock stages for multiplayer use?
A few friends and i were playing this game up until we beat all 3 stages that we start off with. And then we hit a brick wall, none of us want to play the game in story mode alone to unlock stages since we'd rather play/beat the game together. Are there any cheats to bypass this?
And are we the only ones that think this is a huge flaw to the multiplayer aspect of PS0?

The Story is EXTREMELY easy man common. It's very short to, you'd blow it in an hour or 2. Do the story get more maps

I think the point is to experience the bosses/stages for the first time with friends.
Instead of having prior experience by clearing the Story mode yourself.

It's always fun going "OH SHI- I didn't know he could do that!" with friends.

so i played in local with mi friend, do i unlock the other stage and hard mode by finishing the story mod ?
because we played the 1 star stage a lot of time and never got new star ...

finish the story in single player mode, then you wil gai hard mode and have the easy levels in multiplayer.
