Has you tested? Don’t work so I think is not implemented yet.

Well I dunno, I didn't have time to test it yet but if you read the github description it's pretty clear:

  • NINTENDO SWITCH CONTROLS (IN-GAME)
    (+) : START
    (-) : COINS
    (+/-) + (A) : START
    (+/-) + (B) : COINS
    (+/-) + (X) : SERVICE SWITCH
    (+/-) + (Y) : 1P + 2P START
    (+/-) + (L/R) : PFBA MENU
    (+) + (-) : UNIBIOS MENU (NEOGEO ONLY)

Please test and let me know….

Updated to 1.57 on the Switch version and even after deleting the CFG file hoping it would start fresh, it still cannot detect my roms even though it's supposed to scan at the beginning.

Yes, it works just fine, and it is good to see that Unibios is enabled by default, unlike other Retro NX "ExFAT will burn your house and we hate SX OS" bad port.
It feels amazing to just select a ROM and play, without having to re-re-re-select the core :)

Just hope Cpasjuste would also port a PSOne and NES emulators...

I hope eventually, pFBA will have features like video previews, a favorites list, and be able to remember the last game played.

Btw, what is the difference between Lakka and RetroNX? I hope one of them supports exFAT, since I don't want to have to re-transfer my Switch titles to my 256gb microSD card.

This is not for Service mode , its only a pFBA game menu. Service mode is needed for adding lives, difficult level, …

It seems is not implemented, unfortunately. The difficult level for most of them are so high

It’s implimented. Dip switches i haven’t worked out yet

Haven‘t read everything, I only have one question:

Are Metal Slug 1-5 running without any slowdowns or issues? Can you change the settings (blood, continues etc) with the dip switches/bios?

As said, If implemented, doesn´t work on ARCADE, not neo geo.
Make sure joycons are docked to the unit , doesn’t work outside of it. Test menu on arcade works for me (see files) using the combination above, cps3 sfiii.zip (3rd strike) i can change to free play, difficulty etc

Agree, but the in most games are not working. Try for example Crazy Climber, Ghost n Goblins, Time Pilot, Rally x....

That’s because you require dip switch setting dialogue for those games, which is a physical hardware setting on the original cabs. FBA does support it, not sure where it is in the Switch outting . If you discover it do update this thread

I've compared both Metal slug and Aero fighters with the original .nsp files that eshop offers you, I can tell you it run just as well as the nsp ones.

Ok, so, how can i get this thing to play genesis roms? I have not used FBA before, and i see it scans roms its not like retroarch where you can select specific roms. Googling says i need a romset, does that also include a romset for genesis?

NM also worked it out
