Gaming PES 2010 NTSC

Hi all,
Long time, first time. I have a PAL wii, with a NTSC version of PES 2010. When I go to play online it asks me to download update, and without it I cant play online. My question is, is it safe to download the content (Im assuming its roster, players etc update).

Let me just clear this up

If you have loaded the game up and gone to the WiFi option to connect online then YES it's fine.
This update is just for the option file (team roster updates etc, players)
