Not exactly breaking news, but I'm a huge Perfect Dark fan and this XBLA version would actually be reason enough for me to buy a 360. This basically means that you can say goodbye to any hopes of a Goldeneye re-release. Still, since Perfect Dark and Goldeneye both played very similar, you'll still have pretty much identical Goldeneye fun on Perfect Dark.

Ah, well, we get the Perfect Dark xbla game then [IMG]

But there's always hope on teh Wii64 emu to run GoldenEye N64 rom on the Wii.
On the otherhand, you still can go out and buy a N64 and the Goldeneye Game on the secondhand market.
Nothing beats playing the original on a real N64 [IMG]

Meh GoldenEye single player maps weren't that great anyway, multiplayer ones were a lot better.

They should bring back the feature that allowed you to put your face on your character in Perfect Dark like the originally planned.

Complex and Temple were our fave maps, just reading you mentioning those maps in your post Guild brought back loads of memories.

Boooooorrrrriiiinnnggg. I guess it's hype for some people though. Now, what's this about the newly released Beta 4 of GoldeneyeSource being fucking awesome?

Do you know what this means?
Felicity, Temple and Complex aren't the only Goldeneye maps in PDXBLA.

The new game modes are awesome, but it's definitely already in need of a patch. License to Kill is completely broken, and in at least one map the Golden Gun spawns at a blocked-off upper level of the map, making Live and Let Die a complete crapshoot when that happens. It is still awesome, though, I've spent probably 12 hours playing since the release.
