Hacking paws n claws vet healing error

using dstt, 1.16, 1gb patriot microsd, when i try to run the rom, it acts like it starts up, but than just shows random pixels for 3-4 seconds, than screen goes black and i cant do anything except power it off, soft reset wont work either, the rom is trimmed with ndstokyo just like all the other roms on my akrpg and dstt, all others work fine, i also tried DMA, all with no luck, what else could be my problem?
