Emulation Patching Switch Game DLCs/Updates within Botecera

Question for everyone. I have a few switch games and dlcs/updates in nsp format within the same folder. I plan on moving these to Botecera.

Is it recommended that I patch the games w the Yuzu emulator within Windows before moving to Botecera folders, or can I patch after I move them over?

I don't think the order matters.
