Hi All,

I have an ntsc version of Culdcept Saga an wish to patch it to region free.
I extract the files using wx360.
Once i do that i see a file called "default.xex".
I then use x360 game hack and it makes a file called "default.xex.org".
Now when i use power iso to rebuild iso do i include default.xex or default.xex.org?
I have tried both then used xbox backup creator to check region and it says it cant read the file.
Can someone please help me with this?
Yes my xbox 360 is jtagged.

Cheers

You can't do it ... well, not as a burned disc, anyway.

Have you tried just using XeXLoader to boot the unpatched ISO from a USB HDD? It should work fine, that way.

From my own experimenting, I've found that it works every time from the ISO on a USB HDD, but that as a disc, it has less than favourable results.

Someone else may be able to confirm that I am right, or prove me wrong (which would be nice, in this case)

You should not even have to do that- if you have a homebrew box (which you will need if you are going to mod an iso) then you should be running a rebooter which have long disabled region checks. You should be able to burn a raw iso.

Dash Launch 0.02 homebrew has extra patches for xbreboot included to enable xex regionfree, so no more x360gamehack needed

Just burn your ntsc game and play.

you can install the extra patch with flash360 homebrew app.

Hi Fast,

Ok so if i install Dash Launch 0.02 using flash360 and apply the xbr patch for region free will that work?
Also can i have xexmenu and the dash Launch both on the xbox 360 at the same time?
Then your saying i should be able to burn the ntsc game to dvd and run it with no issues.

Cheers
