Gaming Paper Mario OK Glitches Concern

Hi guys. I have been playing Paper Mario OK on my hacked Switch and am close to getting the first Streamer (I think). Anyway, near the Earth Elemental (?) Temple, I think I found a glitch where if you kill the Shy Guy near the door before he notices you, the game doesn't continue. I had to let him attack me normally to get game to continue. Are there other glitches I should be aware of? I do know the one about the Rainbow Spa later in game where if you try to go back after getting the Pass, the game doesn't continue since you can lose the Pass if you go back (I think). I am playing the game cart version and I keep my Switch in Airplane Mode since my Switch is hacked. Thoughts and help appreciated
