I am on 4.1.2 (jelly bean) and I cant root. An OTA update ruined my root with out me being prepared.

So Id like to play games with a proper controller (Wii, PS3, 360) but I cant really find a blue tooth solution thanks to Google fopping up BT stacks with jelly bean (which is pretty poor btw).

Anyone have any ideas?

My ideal setup is this.
Controller >Bluetooth> Phone
Phone running emulator, mirrored display HDMI to my TV.

My phone would be pretty far away from where im sitting so a OTG cable would be kinda out of the question.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. THANKS.

From what I understand, im kinda boned right now for rooted stuff. Thanks man.

Look or wait for a new root method to surface that's been adapted to your updated OS

Also my knowledge may be outdated, but 4.1.2 and on supposedly breaks Wii Remote compatibility.

You should google together keywords, "root xda 4.1.2 yourphonemodelnameormodelnumber"
