There something like that in Australia but it also functions as a speaker. I think they were called sound grips

I had something like this for the gba SP that I won from a shonen jump competition. It was pretty cool: it added handles like that, and it also had this thing you put on the front and it was a control stick that applied pressure to the buttons when you moved it, so it was like a simple Gamecube controller for GBA lol.
