At least 1/2 of the worlds population does not have internet access, either because they cannot afford it or because they live in an area which has a low population density and it's not cost effective for service providers to put in cabling for a few people. Patcher is a retard, plain and simple and doesn't know shit all about computer economics and internet service. Game prices are retarded as it is, who really wants to pay more money for internet service every month just to use shitty Cloud service which will be terrible with such high data traffic coming in for a game.

i dnt think this online onlive whatever game streaming crap will work well with my 3GB bandwidth cap

so errr no thanks, bring on the PS4 and xbox720 ..i dnt see why i'd pay like 60$ for something i can never physically own, where is the fun in buying games anymore, i prefer disc based material, in a nice case, with a manual.

not to mention there is less room for fuck ups.

When technology ( bandwidth for normal ppl everywhere is high speed broadband ) becomes easily available and console gaming companies switch to cloud gaming it will eliminate piracy for their products plain and simple. But cloud gaming just isn't ready to go mainstream YET

why do people still listen to this guy, I have enough bandwidth for onlive I bet, but still wouldn't use it. I like owning my copy's of the games, If onlive is the future of gaming, then I'll keep playing the games I have.
