From sxos 2.9 you don't have to enable sys-clk after every boot. Also all title based sysmodule should work now. Even for reversenx you must use title based version not kip one that does not work.

I noticed this. sys-clk is on after every reboot. Is that an issue (in the sense that the system clocks are set higher all the time) or are those higher clocks only enabled when you've booted a game with the proper OC settings?

In other words: should I turn it off if I'm not using any overclocked games?

From sources I know OC for handheld is good, but for docked is not enough. At least for this leak. Maybe for patched version it will be working also good for docked.

Can confirm. It's really improved in handheld plus + official charger. Not so much (if at all), docked.

thx for your helpful message. I tried the newest official reversenx and didn't notice any difference. s that one doesn't work I guess even if it says does? The one in the package here is working right?

I've tested with firmware 9.0.1 and SX OS 2.9.2 it only work when you plug the official charger.
I already set config with the same value for all mode.
Then when you unplug the charger, sys-clk is not working. you will get fps drop drastically.

Does it work again instantly when you plug in back?

Can someone please explain the following:-

When you launch sys-clk editor, how exactly are you supposed to activate the module.?

I've transferred all files to the SD card, restarted & even attempted to change the clock speeds of qlaunch and/or The Witcher for instance.. No joy.. :/

Same here...

Sure, because the GPU in battery mode, without power supply is limited to 460mhz, where even sys-clk can not handle.
"GPU overclock is capped at 460Mhz in handheld and capped at 768Mhz if charging, unless you're using the official charger."

I didn't know that information. Thanks!

Is anyone sure this works? I honestly cant tell any differnce between base clocks and max clocks.

It absolutely works. Link's Awakening is completely smoothed out when using the right clock speeds + official charger. Haven't had a chance to test much else out, but I think Astral Chain is next.

Could someone take a minute to answer my question a few posts up..

Unsure of what i’m looking for/at.. I’ve tried to dig for answers but getting nowhere.. :hateit:

Hey guys,

I'm trying to get this to work, but when I open the sys-clk editor app it just goes back to the sxos homebrew menu.

I also tried it with the homebrew menu app but I got the same result.

I'm on the latest switch firmware and also the latest sxos version.

sys- editor allows you to turn sys-clk on and off and kosmos toolkit allows you to toggle your sys modules on/off

I would get latest kosmos for ur sd card

the stuff in sd folder in zip file is of course for sd card so other folders are just extras for the below

my default choice for others

Yo wizard, thanks for the input... :grog:

I didn't see any pre-requisite for kosmos files; would it cause any issues with my current SXOS setup if I start dumping those files on my memory card too.?

I've avoided cross-installing CFW solutions to limit corruption...

nope no conflicts you can use both

Somebody can confirm that reverse nx is working on sx os emunand? I don't see any difference visually in any game (official charger plugged in)
trying to see docked graphics in handheld mode.

reverse nx wouldn't change the graphic it just forces the behavior of dock and handheld in each game

take a look at cash bandicoot with this

You sure?
"... games checks if you are using docked or handheld mode. They are mostly used to determine graphics settings and unlocking some options ..."
