are emulator with roms elligal in the OUYA?

Why would they be any more illegal than on any other platform? If you have legal ROM's, you're fine, if you're downloading illegal copies then it's illegal.

You don't have to buy anything - you were asking if it's illegal to use emulators on the OUYA and it's not.

The emulators themselves are, as far as I know, legal. The roms on the other hand, are only legal if you own the games.

More specifically, if you own the games and back them up yourself, and even that is debatable depending on the copyright laws of the country you're the resident of.

tl;dr You can install and use emulators legally on the OUYA. If you won't find the ones you want on the store, you can always side load any Android app you want as long as it can be used on an OUYA.

You absolutely can use emulators and it's 100% legal to do so - the problem has always been the legality of ROMs.

I ripped my PS1 games so I can play them on my emulator. I trust no stranger iso in mah pack of games aye.
