Imagine a reality where energy does not exist. And thus there can be no such thing as a physical form cause there is no vibrating strings to form particles that form our world. Changes does not happen the same way and most likely our existence will be treated as 'corrupted data beyond repair'.

without energy nothing can exist. so there would be no big bang, there would just be emptiness, but an emptiness that exists. as opposed to whatever would contain a singularity, since a singularity in which there is a universe IS the universe, so the singularity can't be anywhere. There's really nothing to imagine.

How is darkness simply lack of energy? We have dark energy in our universe around us and dark matter out there to keep the univetse from expanding infinitely. Also if this is outside of our omniverse it should not be considered another dimension.
And absolutely do not try to 'go higher', regardless of its feelings. It dulls your mind and there are things that can kill you almost everywhere. It's like when you overclock a chip it start doing random things. Drugs or meditation.
Just because human values do not fit inside 'divine plans' does not mean it's pointless and restraining.
