Answered the poll. I know this may sound bitching, but I usually don't care. It's more of a frustration that microsoft get to set the standards on computer UI just because they're the best known. Windows 10's UI was praised by every reviewer because it was better than 8, but the design is really all over the place.
If <you don't find the UI aesthetically pleasing>, what could be done to make it better?
It's not unified: the "computer management" window still looks like XP, settings and control panel look very different if you browse around. I get they're made by different teams, but at least have the UI directors meet up instead of letting each one do their thing.
What, in your opinion, would make for a more futuristic computer? *
Thought control, it spying on you and government meddling. Yeah, "futuristic" isn't a good thing anymore... :-\
If a new UI were to be created based on Windows, what features would you like to see in it? *
Consistency. As such, I DON'T want a new UI based on windows. Please base it on something else.

I'd draw inspiration from linux desktop distro's (eg. linux mint cinammon edition). Oh, and...classic shell > windows 10 start menu.
