Hello, GBATemp!

I'd like to introduce you to my Windows XP mod (which was originally Cosmo (CV)'s idea), OS-eXP.

OS-eXP is a Windows XP mod that takes an attempt to make it look modern, so it can live on with the computers of today's world, coming bundled with modern applications, like
FireFox (recently discontinued for XP & Vista, press F to pay respects)
HxD
Unchecky
7-zip
AVG Antivirus
and more...
(oh, and I guess it also comes bundled with Service Pack 4)

Currently, it's still in early access, and yet needs to be tested on real hardware. This is a small todo list (if possible):

Add a "Reboot in MS-DOS" mode, like in Windows 98
Replace the BSOD (mostly text-replacing)
Get rid of applications that are getting replaced to reduice ISO size (for example, FireFox comes in place for Internet Explorer)

New idea's and improvements are always welcome, at any time!
If you found a bug, make sure to report it here on GBATemp!

Notes:
You're legally allowed to use OS-eXP if you own Windows XP Professional.
I do not host or promote piracy, so you must find your own product key.
The OS-eXP info that you will see while installing was written by Cosmo, it may contain outdated info.
During setup, 3 theming files cannot be copied. If you get this message, ignore it, it will be deleted in a later update.
Note that the *.7z file comes with 2 *.iso's: 1 for installation, 1 called "Extra Components" which contains the bundeld software + SP4.

Edit: OS-eXP is taken down by a moderator due to it containing a modified copy of Windows XP. (Cosmo, I thought you said I could upload it without any problems)

This is something after installing the 2 discs:
There is 1 more thing to do if you want to apply a small setting in OS-eXP.
1. Open up a program called "BootSkin"
2. Search for a startup called "OS-eXP"
3. Apply the startup screen
4. Restart the computer to take effect
When this is done, you're fully done with the OS-eXP installation!

Finally installed it on an old Compaq Presario 2500 (With CD-ROM & Floppy drives)
Does it work?
No...
No... xD
It Bluescreened once while starting up and everything is slow.

Clearly this is a Legacy Laptop, here are the specs:

Service Pack 4
Intel(R)
Celeron(R)
CPU: 2.40 GHz
RAM: 448 MB
Memory Space: 37.2 GB (32.4 GB after installing most of the stuff, so 10GB between 20GB is enough for this mod)
Clearly this is built for a little more ram, like 1GB.

AVG also didn’t install because I didn’t have my LAN cable connected (Yes, this laptop has no wireless internet and the battery is broken) and the Task Manager replacement also didn’t patch.
I found out you must use something like a LiveCD, I used the command window from my copy of Windows 7, and them you have to manually replace it.

This was it for this laptop, I have nothing else to test this on.

It'd be nice for tinkering, look at msfn forums @Joom where a lot of the members spend there time debugging and making older oses survive nowadays where the main choice (w10) is basically sucking the life out of limited connections

plus linux isn't as flexible at running older games as uh, windows 9x and is heavier anyway
