If you want to leave just your gateway card in, boot into a CFW patched to use sysNAND firmware (no "firmlaunchhax") either through MSET or respective browser hack, and then from there a digital version of Cubic Ninja with a save that launches the gateway.
Edit: Better way to do it would be to leave your gateway MSET, and then use any exploit other than MSET to boot into the 2.5 homebrew launcher to get to any homebrew including libkhax versions of your favorite CFWs.

Hello I'm on N3DS XL with emuNAND 9.0 (with RX TOOL) and sysNAND 9.0.

My question is:
I don't have Gateway flashcard but i would to boot my emunand with Gateway instead of Rx Tool...so...

Could i boot into my emuNAND with Gateway files on my microSD?
So with CubicNinja and its QR hack for access at Gateway mode and start the emunand?


The steps should as follow:
1) Boot Sysnand
2) Browserhax to boot on HBL
3) On HBL start Pasta
4) Now i see CucicNinja (because i had already installed when i created the emunand first time)
5) Use QR code of CucicNinja to open Gateway menu (and i had already extracted the gateway's files on my microSD)
6) Start emunand with Gateway
7) Now i'm excepting to see the boot of my emunand and be able games as usually do with RX TOOL.

Should works? or i'm force to buy the Gateway flashcard for boot the emunand with Gateway?

You can open the Gateway menu without the cartridge and perform a few functions (e.g. backup sysNAND or format emuNAND) but you can't enter Gateway mode without the cartridge. If you could nobody would have bothered creating CFWs.

Edit: and anyway why would you want to start EmuNAND in Gateway without the cartridge? It would be exactly like rxTools only with less functions (e.g. using retail cartridges, installing GBA and DSiWare...)

I looked the gateway for the upcoming feature: editing the memory of games in real time... It's very powerful, it remember cheat engine and it's very impressing.

Of course I love rx tool, so I'll not buy the gateway only for that feature

I could never get this to work. I install the Gateway Exploit in slot 1 and I try to install the oot3dhax exploit in slot 2 but I just get an error and a corrupted save file.

I believe Gateway uses two saves banks, and is launched by selecting the 2nd of the 3 slots. I'm not sure which two though.

It's my understanding that it works in such a way that it prevents the use of one, perhaps both of the other save slots.
