I saw a post mentioning sys-clk config file that contains settings to optimize most games on Switch, is there an updated file of such? also, would it be quite safe to do this for long sessions? (OC)

What does governor mean in this case?
Is one preferred over the other?
Governor is a feature of the modified sys-clk in the Switch-OC-Suite Fork. If you use regular sys-clk from https://github.com/retronx-team/sys-clk it won't include the feature. Governor automatically controls overclocking and underclocking so you avoid unnecessary overclocking and utilize underclocking while possible which helps with battery life.

The governor feature is amazing, with that + the RAM OC it’s become one of my must have pieces of homebrew
can you please elaborate on this?
What is the Ram OC and why are those 2 a must? I'm trying to find ways to optimize my Switch for best gameplay experience, im not too savvy with all of this, do I remove sys clk and install the moded one and also the RAM OC? do u mind throwing a quick explanation as to I would achieve this? Id greatly appreciate it

RAM overclocking can have good performance benefits in some games on top of overclocking the CPU + GPU - the OC Suite lets you do it. @ChanseyIsTheBest already explained the benefits of the governor but the dropping of the clocks depending on load lowers the running temps and improves battery life.
