Hardware One Wii remote stopped working....

So I have an original Wii remote plus. i played with it on the wii, but than I got a Wii U. works like charm...
But now it stopped working...i opened it gently and it looks good.
so the light is not flashing. just showing.
can anyone tell me what can i do? it looks like this

have you tried the sync button in the battery case?
other than that i got nothin'

also is only not working with your wii? still works with your wiiu?
