PS1/2 One quick question...

Does it matter if the media your using for backups has any of these?
•Matte Finish
•Silver Matte
•Shiny Silver
•Inkjet Printable
•Thermal Printable
•Hub Printable
•No Stack Ring

I will be buying some DVD-R's soon and I keep reading that Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden are the best to use. When i searched google i kept seeing these extra words in that confused me. Im positive that I should not use dual-layer discs because most PS2 games support single layer 4.7GB DVD-R's right?

Me PS2 has a broken DVD drive.

But I always use Verbatim for every game backup.

As for the writable top.
I don't think it matters much.
Just go for the matte finish ones that are standart.

your much better off buying a cheap hdd than to be bothered burning media to disc especially with the crap quality of the ps drives they always end up breaking its cheaper and more convienient in the long run to run the games from hdd

I have no experience using an hdd, ill search around to see if im smart enough to use one.

Yeah i think ill stick to using DVD-R's for the time being, getting an hdd in the mix with all these other programs and whatnot is making it hard for me to process.
