Hacking OMG! HELP PLEASE!!!

I just finished downloading SSBB, I burned it using IMG burn at 2.4 speed, and set the layer break

I have 3.2J firmware, so I don't need the update

but the only problem is I get that white screen with the green text!

what did I do wrong? please tell me it doesn't have to do with my wii lens/modchip

please answer! I want to play brawl now!

It might be your lens, maybe try changing you TV settings? (60hz, 50hz or whatever) wipe the disk, even try blowing in the disc drive to clear out any dust

I have no Idea what you are talking about but...

Disc serial: L01219f20xxx

wii serial: LJF11453xxx

Hide your number

It's your Wii. You have a lauch Wii, that have problem with Dual Layer discs.
OR it's a way you burn. Or a disc. You should use verbatim or similiar.

But, it it's reading the disc itself it may be not that. What media you're burning it on?

I tried on HP DL, and Silver line, none worked (and I used DVD burner on Toshiba laptop)

can it be fixed by changing the video mode?

and sorry I didn't notice the "clean it yourself part"

ok, I give up, I'm too afraid to open my wii up , can someone send me tutorial on how to do that please?

is there any way to clean it up without taking it apart?

Tried Verbatims already? If yes, the same problem, you give up and that yadddayadda then

Here is how to open wii;
First remove these two:

Next get your smallest screwdriver and remove these screws:

now remove the black thingy and you will see a white thingy:

now remove these screws that are in red Os. You will need a triwing or something that will fit in.
When you end, next turn your console down and remove clock battery:

...and these screws:

(Some of them are behing a white thingys. Remove them with flat screwdriver)
Next remove these screws:

(they are behind white things. remember: these are the Y ones.
Next CAREFULLY remove the clap with power button and VERY CAREFULLY remove this cable:

Next remove these thingys and remove screws:

Next you must remove the box of wii. Do this carefully and slowly. Now you can see the metal thingy that covers DVD. Remember how it is on DVD and remove it:

Now remove not these circled on picture, these that hold the metal plate of DVD and there will be the laser. Be careful to not make some of this mechanism fell apart and rub the laser with some alcohol.

But you should try few things with the disc first

Hey, you can always use the WiiScrubber to fit the game on single layer disc. With no movies or Subspace Emissary, but still the game will play
