Hacking old newbie

5 years ago i soft modded my wii using the Zelda princess hack.
now 5 years later i whant to updaye my system and use the best ned loaders without bricking my wii.
i whant to use a loader which can use a external hdisk.
anyone who can give me the right tutorial and what 2 do?
