Gaming Old flashcart bootstrappers. Blocked?

This is a strange question.
Okay, so with DSi firmware 1.4.1, most(all?) of the old DSi flashcarts were blocked until they were re-flashed. What I want to know is, what happens to legitimate copies of these games?

Is, for example, Danny Phantom: Urban Jungle (the previous AK2i header info) no longer able to boot on updated DSi's?

If so, great. I have a plan, but I'll save it for later.

Nothing happens to the retail carts.
They all still work as normal.
