Old 3DS process 16 crash

Every time I activate online play, try to play Mario Party The Top 100, or even try to use Miis / the keyboard, my Old 3DS continuously crashes with this ErrDisp: process 16, error code 0xd8601837. What is this, and how do I stop it from crashing?

I found a fix for it on my end, which was a conflict between Wumiibo and either the 3DS OS or Pretendo's HokakuCTR plugin. Entering the Wumiibo app settings → "Toggle Wumiibo State" to set it to Disabled, worked for me.
