So I just bought a new 32gb SDHC card for my 3ds, but the console refuses to recognize the new card. The card works well in the pc (I formated to fat32) and my 3ds still reads well my old SD card, I don't know what to do, can anyone please help?

A full fledged SD card and not a mSD in an SD card adaptor?

I tested it came out all ok, and after I formated with the indicated program by Nintendo... I think i will have to buy a SD card after all =/

Did the OP solve the problem? I'd like to know if Micros in adapters are viable alternatives (I have a 64gb spare MSD in a drawer somewhere!).

No they arnt a viable solution get a full fledged SD card for SD devices

All the adapter does is run connectors from the traces on the micro card to the larger size, there is no kind of conversion going on. Whatever the problem here is it is not the adapter unless the adapter is faulty.
