The anti-piracy in this game doesn't let you advance after getting the slash technique. Your partner character vanishes and you cannot go into other areas. This lets you fix that.

How to play "Okamiden: Chisaki Taiyou " on your DSTT and R4

For General Users:

1. Download Patch.rar{http://www.megaupload.com/?d=K6KXQKH4} and get a Patch.exe file from the RAR archive.

2. Drag your ROM and drop it onto the Patch.exe. That's all.


For DSTT Users:

1. Copy the two files of infolib.dat and extinfo.dat, to the TTMENU folder of your DSTT.

Note: You must use DSTT Kernel v1.17a13 rev39 for implemeting the latest files.


For R4 User:

Use YSMENU with the same manner of the above instruction as like DSTT. Thus, use R4 YSMENU.

Note:
This path is not only for "Okamiden: Chisaki Taiyou ". It's one of game to be patched by Universal Child's Play Patch.
The file having the ".bak" extension is the backup copy of the original nds file.

Here's a patch I made, it's the same as doing the hex-edit above.
Make sure the un-edited Okamiden ROM, patch, and xdelta files are all in the same folder.

I have Tested it and i followed the directions but it still doesnt work on Acekard 2i

I forgot to metion that i am on Akaio 1.7.1

I've had the same problem before, so I just manually hex-edit all of my ROMs. Get a hex editing program like XVI32, and patch the code in.

i want patch this rom but i can't download the files, and i don't find anything on google i was searching for a patched rom for 2 days, or only a patch for okamiden.
But I do not find anything, and when he thought the links were not working anymore.

Are you playing the japanese version of the game? not the US version?

I completed that game (US version) without any patches applied, but I played it on SuperCard DS Two. Maybe that card doesn't trigger the anti-piracy detection. or the US version doesn't have the detection and doesn't need a patch?

i try to play the US version, but now a upgrade the r4 to 3.8 and now other games don't work like okamiden

I don't know if there's one for US version. I don't know why more games are not working after updating, sorry.
