it's been a while since someone posted on this, and all issues have probably been solved but the question i have is installing cios 222 and 223 what ios do i start with 249 is the default.. it is 249 as the default then 222 then 36.. i used 249 then 223 36 merged with 37.. the question is should i have used 249 or another one at the begining...

Ok , I installed CIOS 222 as 36 (default) and 223 as 36 + 37 merged , installer said done but now when I open Uloader 2.8D or 3.0B I get an error message stating that I need CIOS 222 to use it ! Any ideas , Uloader 2.8D loaded fine before (from memory I maybe already had 222 installed) . Tried reinstalling 222 after the 223 merged 36 + 37 but still no go , any ideas ?

I believe Uloader3.0B requires the newest rev4 of Hermes cIOS to run. So I would try making sure you have the newest version of both Uloader and Hermes cIOS.

Thanks Jakem , found that last night and d/l ed the goods with Nusd before redoing an offline install with the newer files . Appreciate the reply anyway tho.
Now just gotta try a different hard drive , I keep getting games nearly or partially installed but each one freezes at some stage of the install or rip whether I use the Wii or WBFS software to add the isos to hard drive. It is a Seagate and I've heard they are not nice when playing with a wii.

No Problem, I have a Seagate Barracuda and it works fine, but it's in a generic USB caddy.
