I have some official SNES VC installed, Super Mario World, Super Metroid, and none of them have the cart labels on the banner -- ther have the title screens on but no label and it's bothering me in an OCD Kind of way. any idea why?
They do not for the sake of simplicity, and the fact that they're pretty much unreadable on the small 3DS screen. Only some fanmade VC injects have cart labels.

I guess that makes sense, but it seems weird they would put it there and not go all the way themselves, but I suppose it makes sense because all the other VC stuff doesn't have cart labels (They can hide the NES, GB, GBC stuff though).
@cearp the SNES VC stuff is All region iirc, I think the Japanese might be seperate but I'm pretty sure US/EU are the same.
Yep. The Pokemon VC don't have custom cart colors, etc, for example. It's for the sake of consistency (and also so they don't have to edit the banner each time)
The EUR and USA CIAs are the same thing, as far as I know - IIRC in the EUR Direct it said it would be using all USA versions of games. Their banners change depending on system language.
Yeah it makes sense they would be using us roms because they're at 60 fps so they don't have to have two versions set up. It just confuses me they wouldn't go that far if they're making the things, and evidently it's easy enough for custom VC makers to put on.
