firmware 2.40 is out!!
downloading right now as i speak oops sorry as i write

finally i can play my songs while i play fifa 08 and those annoying repeating annoying repeating fifa 08 tracks are going to die.

I recommend waiting a little before updating to 2.40, there have been some reports of corrupt HDs after upgrading.

I doubt its serious, from what I heard, mostly the 40GBs were bricking. I have an 80GB, so It's not my problem.

There is no homebrew at all for Retail PS3's. At one stage you could use SwapMagic to load copied PS2 games but I think they (Sony) fixed that

-edit- And of course you can't play PS2 games on the 40gb so even the SwapMagic method wouldn't work

Yes. I don't recall who exactly, but a group has a couple test PS3s and managed to get PS3 Games running of an SD card.

There is no homebrew at all for Retail PS3's. At one stage you could use SwapMagic to load copied PS2 games but I think they (Sony) fixed that

yep, he is right. but i heard that sony will be realeasing a firmware update which will enable us to play ps2 games through software emulation.(not sure abt it)

have you guys seen the new team sneak mode they added yesterday? it "snuck" right on there!

it's kind of like sneak except the whole team gets octo-camo but then they are armed only with anest.

did u lot finish mgs4? i didnt, im on act 3, where u have to stalk some guys and find their hq.
the first boss battle (octopus) was easy ,didnt get killed

I'm just before Act 5. I'm currently watching the mission briefing. This game is epic.
