Gaming Official GBA games displaying wrong

nope never seen that (outside of a few gba pokemon games converted to cia) . . . where? . . . did you download that cia? . . . or get it from (fre)eshop

It's worked fine all day, I opened the manual to check something, and now it does this.

have you tried (can you try) another gba cia to see if it is just that game or a system problem?

After launching another GBA title, Mario Kart started working correctly, so IDK if it was a game or system issue.

glad to hear it is resolved (although that was meant to be an indicator for the problems root . . . not a solution)
so thats weird but that would hint that the problem is specific to that game (or at least its manual) i would delete and reinstall it just for good measure


and just in case anyone else has this problem what exactly did you do simply open another gba cia? or did you open the manual within it as well?

I opened Minish cap, saw it didn't have issues. Then went back to Mario kart and the issue was gone.

Started happening again just now after about 3 hours of charging. Same fix. I'll try reinstalling when I get back from Thanksgiving.

What size is your SD card? if it's 128GB that's a known issue when it's cluster size is 32kb. You need to to use 64kb cluster size and that issue will go away. It won't make a noticeable difference on such a large card. The larger the SD card, the slower they're read/written by the console.

Perhaps they only start once the card surpasses the 64Gb mark.... Or creates bad sectors, get's close to capacity etc...
