so you just copy your legaly bought games to use this gcos programm ?
V i don't really think so, and even thaught mod chips are good for homebrew and such i can't think of anyone not using it for pirating games as well ... you read that in every topic about a new game man barely everyone talks about downloading and at least just testing the games ...
i never said its bad i only complain why this thread should go down only because there is a programm for mod chip user ? especialy cuz even those might not like it to burn their game they paid for to play it after getting a freeloader for this
You are talking about people who post in a forum asking how to get illegally downloaded games working with their modchip.. but what about the people who post in these forums asking how to play legitimate backups? Especially the Wii has a large percentage of kids playing, so their parents, the ones who pay $60 a game, naturally want to protect their purchase. If the kid scratches it, can you go back to the store and change it? No, pay another $60, thanks.
Then there's the homebrew aspect. How can I explain this? I bought a 'modded' DS **just for homebrew**. I'm not interested in the commercial games.. AT ALL. I use it to watch movies, play mp3's, learn languages, make notes, connect to the net, play with SCUMMVM using my old PC CD's (yes, original) etc etc etc. So that's the argument I have. Of course the Wii hacking scene is in it's infancy.. but in a few years my guess is you'll be able to do pretty much anything on it using homebrew.
As for the new, unreleased games.. yes, there will always be a few pirates. But there's other BIG FANS out there, who just can't wait for the release.. but buy it as soon as it comes out. Technically, that is piracy too, but IMO different.
