OCDM - Mario Maker 3DS course manager

OCDM stands for Online Course Database Manager

Features*:
  • import and export courses, both** 3DS and WiiU
  • cryptofix saves (if the game marked your save as "corrupted")
    • Note: this will overwrite the LockoutID in your courses, not in the save file, so please be fair and don't reupload others' courses :)
  • make/apply save snapshots (exports all files which are used in the save)
    • Note: please format your save data before restoring your save otherwise the game could mark your save as "corrupted", and this one is not cryptofixable
  • browse SMMDB
    • download courses
    • discontinued

*: these features are in the latest build at the time of editing this post, so functionality in the public build could differ
**: due to differences in the 3DS and the WiiU version, importing a converted course file on a foreign platform could crash the game on loading the course

It may just be my lame computer, since I can scroll down in my phone, and I still cant with my browser. But on my phone I dont see the filter button. Maybe adding the search function to that slide out menu would help.

That sounds like a browser compatibility issue. I might increase compatibility range, since several people have problems, but I cannot make it work on 3DS.
With the search function button, that was actually my plan.

Did someone test opening a download link for a course on a 3DS?

I could try it without the parameter. Fairly certain Ive downloaded arbitRARY files before. Ive at least saved images. But I also think it'd be best if someone else also did it just in case the issue is something I'm messing up with rather than it definitively not working

Yes I really need someone else to test downloading courses by typing the full address in 3DS browser preferably in different formats. type=3ds, type=wiiu or omitting that parameter will download in Protobuf format

Ok I just implemented the QRCodes so could you just try them and tell me the result?

I also added filters for mobile view

This is what mobile looks like for me

The app works for normal downloads if that's what you are asking. I use it pretty frequently to download mp3 files and other things I need on my 3DS but dont think are important enough to unplug the SD card for.

Does that mean it works for downloading course files? What is a "normal" download?

A normal download is just that you enter a URL and it downloads the file at that URL.

I'd imagine it'd work for downloading course files, since I see no reason for it not to.

@Tarnadas I tried scanning the QR Code using the Camera App and it says the file can't be loaded..
Also, I tried &type=zip and without any type to download "Protobuf format" but, in all it says that the file can't be loaded..

Also, I tried to load an image on your site and it loads perfectly and we can save it to our sd card, so, I guess, it is better to trick the course into an image file..

Can you try again using the regular camera app? It should now think, that it downloads a jpeg image

Sure, I will test it and let ya know! :)

It says cannot load the image :(

@Tarnadas What happens is when we go to an image url, it displays the image on the upper screen and, there is a download image button on the lower screen..

Ok it looks like 3DS checks magic number of the file as well or it does any other check, that I don't have in mind, which means it is not possible to use the regular camera app.

I added Multidownload++ as a recommended way in the FAQ to download 3DS courses and reverted the Content-Type='image/jpeg' HTTP header.
