Hi everyone,

I tried using Switch-OC-Suite for atmosphere 1.3.2 but for the life of me couldn't get it working and overlocking the RAM. Under Hekate looks like I have samsung ram.

Here is what I did:

1. Removed the libsys_minerva.bso
2. Added the line kip1=atmosphere/kips/loader.kip in bootloader/hekate_ipl.ini

fss0=atmosphere/package3
kip1patch=nosigchk
kip1=atmosphere/kips/loader.kip
emummcforce=1
icon=bootloader/res/emu_boot.bmp

3. Renamed the latest the KIP to loader.kip and made a /kips folder in /atmosphere/

When I tried using sys clk and even the sys clk uncapped, the memory is still at 1600 (under the status monitor). Highest selection is 1600.

Is there something I am missing???

I even tried previous very outdated KIP for 1996 overlock but I get a black screen loading his KIP. This is telling me that perhaps my switch is loading the KIP but not getting enough voltage?

I couldn't find any clear guidance around.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks.

it won't change the selection from 1600 it will just apply the new ram setting when selecting 1600

Your whole setup is outdated/wrong/messed up mate.
Please use this https://rentry.org/MarikoEmuNAND to get everything running and configured properly, then try overclocking again.
I have 0 issues with sys-clk on my Mariko aswell.

thanks, but when I select it as 1600mhz under sys clk, status monitor still shows 1600.

I know that the sys clk doesn't show the readings properly but when I see it under status monitor full it is also still at 1600 as well.

I believe for mariko you do not need to delete the minerva module, that is for erista consoles only to get the ram OC working unless you patch and compile it yourself. Try copying that file back and see if it works. Make sure you are using the included sys-clk as well.

If all else fails reinstall atmoshpere and hekate from scratch, and make sure you are only following the mariko instructions only on the Switch OC Suite github page

Also are you on HOS 14.X?

what are you even smoking?

Yeah using HOS 14.1.2. Restoring the minerva didnt make any difference.

Where can I find this Included sys-clk?

I used the sthetix hats pack. I have another microSD perhaps I'll try using a clean emunand and test this out.

I would install everything manually yourself rather than using pre made packs, it is better to learn how to do it because then you have a better understanding of troubleshooting issues like this.

Make sure you continue to use emunand as well so nothing bad can happen to your sysnand.

You can find switch OC suite with included modified sys-clk and instructions here: https://github.com/KazushiMe/Switch-OC-Suite. Read all the mariko instructions carefully before installing.

I would NOT recommend enabling unsafe clocks, they come disabled out of the box so do not enable them. They can exceed the safe power draw limit of the mainboard and shorten the systems life.

EDIT: Ignore Step 4: Customization. It is not a necessary step

    @PandaPandel, OG 3DS is -not- fun to put back together, and that's coming from someone who at the time was pretty familiar with reassembling DS Lites. Total pain in the ass, and screws of varying length that'll poke through the face surface of the bottom half of the shell if you put the wrong screw in the wrong spot. Totally not talking from experience there, nope
