objcopy Copy Unamed Section

I need to be able to copy a section from an ELF file that doesn't have any names for the sections. This possess a problem because the MAN pages only talk about using names for the section. I require using an index for this, not a name.

Any idea how I can do this?

That would become tedious and be super error prone. I would need to insert data and change pointers and maintain padding.
